Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan has said that during the last two years special attention has been paid to the development of remote backward districts which is showing positive results and today development projects are underway in all the districts of the province on equal basis. The completion will provide education, health, communication, water, electricity and employment opportunities to the people, he said while talking to a delegation of dignitaries and youth of Barkhan district met him today led by provincial minister Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran. The delegation called on him here and thanked him for approval of funds for development of dams, roads, education and health in Barkhan district, establishment of 1122 in Rakhni, sports complex, technical training center, provision of coaster to girls college and other development projects and for initiating the supply and implementation of the projects, it was said that under his leadership the development of Barkhan district has not received as much attention in the last 72 years and today the people of Barkhan are happy and satisfied with the development process. The delegation requested for establishment of Hospital & Girls College at Rakhni and extension of Barkhan Hospital, they also requested that Rakhni be given the status of Tehsil. The Chief Minister assured that more development projects would be given in the district as per the needs of the people of Barkhan. The delegation invited the Chief Minister to visit Barkhan which was accepted by the Chief Minister. He will soon visit Barkhan and announce development plans.
