Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan has said that every possible step will be taken for resolving the issues being faced by the journalist community.

Talking to a delegation of senior journalists led by President Quetta Press Club Raza-ur-Rehman which called on him in Quetta on Friday, he said that the welfare of journalists is the topmost priority of the present government.

He said that a piece of land for the journalist colony has been allotted and steps are being taken for the provision of basic infrastructure and other facilities there.

Earlier, the President Quetta Press Club briefed the Chief Minister about the progress of the establishment of the Media Academy.
