Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan has said that the present government is taking various measures for the welfare of minorities and protection of their rights in the province. He was talking to the Chairman One-Man Commission on Minorities Supreme Court of Pakistan Dr. Muhammad Shoaib Suddle who called on him in Quetta on Thursday.

MNA Dr. Ramaish Kumar, Parliamentary Secretary Minorities Denash Kumar, Secretary Minorities Abdul Fateh Bhanger, Special Secretary Asfandyar Baloch were also present on the occasion. During the meeting, matters related to protection of rights of minorities, measures taken for socio-economic progress and security of worship places of minority communities in the province were discussed. TheChief Minister apprised the Chairman that the provincial government has allocated a huge amount in the budget for welfare of minorities and their worship places while a five percent quota in government jobs is also being implemented. The Chairman Commission Shoaib Suddle lauded the steps taken for the welfare of minority communities in the province.
