Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Political communication Dr. Shahbaz Gill called on Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan here on Friday. During the meeting, issues of mutual interest including the situation of coronavirus were discussed. Dr. Shahbaz Gill Appreciated the steps taken by the Balochistan government for prevention and spread of virus , he said that it was not right to criticize the steps taken by the Balochistan government in Taftan without knowing the ground realities. He said that he visited various districts of Balochistan on the instructions of the Prime Minister Arriving in Quetta, the purpose of his visit is to encourage the people and assure the cooperation of the federal government. The meeting also discussed the impact of the corona virus on the economic and social sectors. Covid-19 has shaken the world’s economy, but the situation is also creating new opportunities and technological possibilities, the corona virus is organizing the nation and the nation has become aware of health and precautions. , Corona virus not only kills humans This is also a big challenge for the economy. The Chief Minister said that in the beginning it was difficult to convince the people about the dangers of Corona virus but now they are becoming cautious. He said that the food security situation in Pakistan is satisfactory and God’s special mercy. Due to which the economic effects of corona virus are not very harmful yet. The Chief Minister said that so far only estimates are being made all over the world regarding the behavior of corona virus and only after thorough research the correct situation is revealed. He said that the government of Balochistan has made a plan to reduce the impact of corona virus on employment and business. The budget for the next financial year includes more financial assistance programs that will enable the youth to start their own businesses, the Chief Minister said, adding that the aim of the entrepreneurship is to put their people on their feet financially. And also by providing support to skilled people return from outside pakistan to help them use their skills The Chief Minister said that there are opportunities for economic activities in every district of Balochistan, especially in agriculture, fisheries and livestock. There are bright prospects for doing business in other sectors.
