Leading singer Shehzad Rai and renowned folk artist Waso called on Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan. He said that the provincial government had allocated huge funds in the budget for the current financial year  Appreciating the art of folk artist Waso, the Chief Minister said that the provincial government was dedicated to highlighting the culture and tourism of the province around the world.  While a welfare fund of Rs 200 million has been set up for the patronage of artists and a fund of Rs 5 crore has been set up for artists infected with the corona virus, the Chief Minister assured that the government would provide financial assistance to Waso and the culture department.  A monthly stipend will be fixed for them so that they can focus all their attention on their art. Later, Provincial Advisor Abdul Khaliq Hazara provided financial assistance to folk artist Waso on behalf of the Chief Minister.
