Newly posted Inspector General Police Balochistan Muhammad Tahir Rai called on Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan in Quetta on Thursday after assuming his new responsibilities.
The Chief Minister has said that the protection of lives and properties of the masses is the top priority of the police force.
Jam Kamal said police and other law enforcement agencies have an important role in ensuring sustainable peace in the province.
He also directed IG Police to further improve the law and order situation in the province and expressed good wishes for him.
