MIR ABDUL QUDOOS BIZENJO
CHIEF MINISTER BALOCHISTAN
Political Career
Mir Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo, belongs to a respectable Bizenjo tribe of Balochistan having sound grounds and knowledge of Local and National politics.
He had acquired the graduation degree from University of Balochistan.
In General Election 2002 he was elected MPA from PB 41 Awaran on the platform of Pakistan Muslim League (Qaid Azam) PML (Q).
He served as Provincial Minister for Livestock and Dairy Development Government of Balochistan between 2002-2008.
In General Election 2013 he was again elected MPA from PB 41 Awaran.
On 6th June 2013 he was elected as Deputy Speaker, Balochistan Provincial Assembly unopposed.
After resignation tendered by the than Speaker, he assumed the charge of the office of Speaker, Balochistan Provincial Assembly on 22nd May, 2015 and 15-30 September, 2015 and became the Chief Minister Balochistan in 2018.
After General Election of 2018 he became Speaker Balochistan Provincial Assembly.
On 28th October, 2021 he resigned the office of Speaker and became Chief Minister Balochistan.
Chief Minister
Mir Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo is dedicated and has vast and varied experience in the field of parliamentary practice and procedure.
He attended 60th Commonwealth Parliamentary Association Conference held from 5-10 October 2014 at Younde Cameroon and also under taken journey of United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, USA and London on exposure visits.
Recently he participated in a workshop on Climate Change organized by CPA & UNEP at London on 26th October 2015.
His father Mir Abdul Majeed Bizenjo was also elected 5 times as Member or Provincial Assembly and served as Minister / Deputy Speaker Balochistan Provincial Assembly between 1988-1990 and 1993-1996.
