The Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan has categorically stated that the terrorists and their perpetrators involved in the gruesome incident of Mach would be taken to task at every cost.
He said that the Mach incident is very sorrowful and as such the government would not leave the bereaved families of those mine labourers in isolation at all.
He said that it is the responsibility of the government to protect the life and property of the general public, and it would be fulfilled anyway.
The Chief Minister was presiding over a high-level meeting on the law and order situation soon after his arrival from Karachi, here at the CM’s secretariat on Wednesday.
Those who were present in the meeting were included: Provincial Minister for Home and Tribal Affairs, Mir Ziaullah Langove, Chief Secretary, Captain (Retd) Fazeel Asghar, Additional Chief Secretary Home, Hafiz Abdul Basit, Inspector General of Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan, Major General Fayyaz Hussain Shah besides other concerned senior civil and military officials.
The meeting discussed the Mach incident besides the overall law and order situation in the province.
The Chief Minister was also briefed by the ACS and IG FC about the Mach incident and the overall law and order situation in the province.
Certain important decisions were made in the meeting in the backdrop of the Mach incident.
The Chief Minister on the occasion said that it is the resolve of the provincial government to uproot terrorism from the province together with the security forces and masses.
The meeting expressed the resolve to take effective steps to maintain the law and order situation under a comprehensive strategy in the province.
Participants of the meeting expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of lives of the innocent mine workers in the tragic Mach incident.
