The Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan has once again accused the previous governments of “poor” planning made for the development projects in the province.

He regretfully pointed out that the development projects initiated even 30 years ago are being included in the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) could not be completed even today.

The Chief Minister was addressing the ceremony of the inauguration of the solarization of tube wells at Airport Road here on Friday afternoon.

The Provincial Minister for WASA and Public Health Engineering (PHE), Noor Muhammad Dummar, and other concerned high-ups besides the tribal and political personalities were present at the ceremony.

The Chief Minister maintaining went on to say that certain development projects initiated were formulated without any aim and approach. Resultantly, these projects are still incomplete, he added.

He said that the governments which made merely projects didn’t succeed.

The Chief Minister said that the first challenge the present provincial government faced was how to make development in the province.

He said that while we came in power, several schemes were lying incomplete for years. They have included the schemes of roads, water supply and buildings, adding he mentioned.

He said that most of the projects were prepared without any purpose merely on political grounds. These were abandoned by the successive government afterward, he said.

The Chief Minister said that if we continued the practice, it would be disastrous for us. We would be responsible for our own damage, if we did not mend our way, adding the stress.

Jam Kamal also said that we have to show the best performance to win the trust of the people, and if we were able to do so, it would be a great blessing.

He also said it has become very difficult to work in the era of modern media as it has made the access of people to information very easier.
