The Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan has categorically stated that every kind of resources would be provided for the promotion of Islamic teachings in the province.
In this regard, the Chief Minister directed to take effective and coordinated steps formulating the collective nature development projects.
He also asked the concerned high ups to display the noble manuscripts after establishing the museums and libraries.
This and similar other directives were issued by the Chief Minister while speaking at a review meeting about the proposed development projects of the Religious Affairs Department and establishment of an Islamic University in the province, here at the CM’s secretariat on Friday.
The Secretary Religious Affairs on the occasion briefed the meeting about the proposed development projects of his department besides the issues of madrissas and the legislation related to FATF.
Those who were in attendance were included the Principal Secretary to Chief Minister and administrative secretaries of Finance and Law departments and other concerned high ups.
It was informed that four Acts have been enforced during 2020 in the province.
During the briefing, it was also informed that the establishment of Qura’an Academy has been approved in the province.
Moreover, the meeting was also briefed about the proposed project of the establishment of the State of the Art Islamic University in the province.
In the meeting, the proposal of bringing Madaaris under the administration of the Religious Affairs department was also discussed.
Addressing the meeting, the Chief Minister issued necessary directives for the promotion of Islamic education in the province.
He also directed to expedite the work on the project of establishing mosques at the government level throughout the province.
