Mr. Roshan Ali Sheikh, Secretary Science & IT, GoB along with Mr. Irfan Nawaz D.G. IT and Mr. Jawad Ahmed, Director IT Trainings visited UoB and Signed MoU with UoB, BUITEMS and SBKWU for Provincial PSDP project of the department on DIGIBIZZ. Dr. Shafiq Ur Rehman, VC UoB welcomed all deligates and thanked S&IT department for this wonderful initiative. On the occasion Prof. Jahanvash DG Student Affairs, Mr. Gul Kakar Registrar, Dr. Waheed Noor, Director ORIC, UoB, Dr. Bakhtyar Kasi Dean FICT, Dr. Akram Chairpersin CS, BUITEMS, Manzoor Hussain Registrar, SBKWU, Ms. Shumaila Chairoerson CS SBKWU were also present. The DIGIBIZZ program revolves around training and build 21st century skilled youth of Balochistan on freelancing and entrepreneurship such that these youth ultimately contribute to the economic growth of the province. This program aims to build startups and enterprises which will engage thousands of youth. The delegates then visited Government Innovation Lab and were briefed on different Smart products developed by young fellows for different government line departments with the support of UNDP and P&DD, GoB. Secretary S&IT appreciated efforts of GIL UoB working effectively in developing skilled youth and solving line department problems for sustainable development. The S&IT department also ensured support and buy in of technologies developed by GIL.
