Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan has said that the China Pakistan Economic Corridor project is the guarantor of a bright future of the country.
Chairing a review meeting held in Quetta today regarding the progress of projects under the China Pakistan Economic Corridor, he directed to take all necessary steps to make coordination on CPEC related projects.
The meeting was attended by the Federal Minister for Defence Production Zubaida Jalal, Provincial Ministers, Chairman CPEC Authority Lieutenant General (Retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa and other high ranking officials.
Speaking on the occasion, Asim Saleem Bajwa said that the 2nd phase of CPEC has been started and the Central Asian Countries are taking keen interest in investing in CPEC.
He added that the provision of employment opportunities to the local people will be ensured.
Earlier, the Chairman CPEC Authority Asim Saleem Bajwa and Additional Chief Secretary Planning and Development briefed the meeting about the progress of CPEC related projects in Balochistan.
