A review meeting of development matters chaired by Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan approved the design and master planning of new projects for the construction of higher education residential institutions, colleges, polytechnic institutes and law colleges included in the development program for the current financial year. The projects include three Balochistan Residential Colleges, 17 Degree Colleges, three Polytechnic Institutes and one Law College and up gradation and revenging of 11 educational institutions. Mir Arif Jan Mohammad Hassni, Provincial Minister for Communications, Additional Chief Secretary Planning and Development, Secretary Finance. , Secretary Communications, Secretary Higher Education and other concerned officials attended the meeting. The meeting also reviewed the progress of 107 priority development projects besides ongoing and new projects included in this year’s PSDP, Additional Chief Secretary Planning. Briefed the meeting, the Chief Minister directed to increase the progress of implementation of ongoing projects and initiate immediate implementation of new projects. Secretary higher education gave a briefing on Design Master Planning and other related matters while the project consultant informed about the details of facilities in the projects of Balochistan Residential Colleges, including Admin Block, Academic Block, Hostels for Students and Teachers, Accommodation of Principal and Vice Principal and Staff Colony, Mosque and Sports Facilities. The Chief Minister directed some changes in the design. He also directed to ensure provision of auditorium futsal and generator facilities.
