Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan has directed to complete the process of preparation of Town Development and Housing Policy as soon as possible. He directed this during a high level meeting to review the progress of master planning projects in Quetta and other cities.  Secretary Urban Planning and Development Abdul Latif Kakar briefed the meeting. Parliamentary Secretary for QDA Bushra Rind, Chief Secretary Fazil Asghar, ACSP & D Abdul Rehman Bazdar, Information Secretary Irfan Gharshin, Special Secretary Finance Lal Jan Jaffer  DG QDA and other concerned officials attended the meeting. The meeting was informed that the estimated cost of the master planning project in Quetta is Rs. 300 million. The tendering process for the appointment of consultant for the project is in the final stages.  Besides, master planning plan of 30 other towns of the province is also being implemented, the Chief Minister said.  Of master planning  After its completion, it will be enacted by the Assembly as an act for its implementation so that it can get legal protection and no individual or institution can violate the master planning.
