Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan, while inspecting the project to beautify Airport Road and provide recreational facilities to the people, expressed dissatisfaction over the quality of work and design of the project and immediately asked the concerned authorities to improve the quality.  Instructing to change the design, the Chief Minister said that huge funds are being spent from the national exchequer on development projects which should not be wasted in any case. If these projects do not benefit then there is no justification for such projects.  He said that neither public resources will be allowed to be wasted nor any compromise will be made on the quality of the projects. The Chief Minister of Balochistan later inspected the project under construction of Ninth Fort Bypass.  Expressing strong displeasure, he directed that the defects found in the project should be rectified immediately. The Chief Minister also inspected the Dorviya Orak project under construction where he was briefed that at a cost of Rs. 337.60 million.  Fast on 6.9 km long Orak Road Work is in progress, the Chief Minister said, adding that this project is important for the transportation of people and tourists of the area and bringing agricultural and mineral products to the market.  Kamal Khan also visited Hanna Lake where he was briefed by Commissioner Quetta Division about the development projects of the lake included in the PSDP for the current financial year. The Chief Minister said that Hanna Lake is an excellent tourist destination near Quetta.  However, no attention has been paid to its development. The development of the lake will provide recreational facilities to the people. He directed immediate implementation of the projects.
