Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan on Thursday paid a detailed visit to Sariab Road and adjoining areas and inspected the ongoing construction and expansion of roads under Quetta package and under construction projects of sports complexes there.  Secretary Communications and Construction Noorul Amin Mengal and Commissioner Quetta Usman Ali Khan also accompanied the Chief Minister. He is the first Chief Minister to pay a surprise visit to Sariab and adjoining areas with limited security. The Chief Minister interacted with the people of the area at various places on the occasion.  Asked for his views on development projects, the people of Sariab appreciated the roads, sports complex, drainage and other development projects and thanked the Chief Minister and the provincial government, saying it was the first provincial government.  Has launched multi-population welfare schemes in Sariab, the completion of which will provide basic amenities of life to the people here while the youth will get the best opportunities for sports and healthy recreation and talented sportspersons will emerge from here, the Chief Minister said.  After drinking tea at a hotel on Sariab Road and talking to the people present there, he got acquainted with their problems. The Chief Minister visited Sariab Road, Qambrani Link Road, Qambrani Road, Lohar Karez, Gharibabad, Haqabad and other adjoining  While reviewing the ongoing development projects in the areas and their quality and ensuring their completion within the stipulated time, the Chief Minister also inspected the mini sports complexes under construction including multi-purpose halls, futsal, gymnasium and for the community.  Other sports facilities are included and six such sports complexes are being set up in different parts of the city. The Chief Minister also reviewed the construction project of Sariab to Qambrani Link Road.  While inspecting the mini sports complexes, he directed the construction of recreational facilities for women and children, play area and bathroom.
